Why do you use Yahoo Answers?
What are the benefits? What are the drawbacks? How did you find out about it?
I use Yahoo Answers to basically pass the time. I enjoy reading questions and giving my opinion back, sometimes I get a thumbs up, sometimes a thumbs down, sometimes a best answer. Its all in fun for me.

I use Yahoo answers 2 pass time.2 ask questions ,2 solve others problems & 2 get opinions of different people & finally 2 earn points.
I found about it from my friend.Its benifit is that U grt diff. solutions 4 Ur problem But sometimes U can also get confusd by so many opinions.
Its a fun time killer. There are some people out there looking for genuine advice and its always nice to give your opinion (not that people actually want it 80% of the time LOL). I think a drawback to YA would be if someone out there asking questions takes the information they are given on here too seriously. One must remember to take it all in with a grain of salt! As for finding out about it......I think I did a Google search for something about 8 or 9 months ago and I stumbled upon YA..............and when time permits, have been very addicted!
I like it cause you normally get a fast response from the users on here.
Drawbacks are when you post a question, and for some reason nobody answers it. Or it's a bot post trying to get you to click some link.

Found it by accident. I use it because I'm a Masochist. The draw back is that it is addictive.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experiences. There is also a lot to learn by reading other answers, researching along the way.
The only drawback might be that sometimes I spend too much time. But it is also a release from stress, and gives my mind a chance to focus on problems other than at work or of my own.
I heard about Y/A on the internet and love it greatly.
I use it because my favorite porn site is down right now. And if it's porn you want, then Yahoo answers is the next best place to be.
I know from personal experience that the moderators here love porn, and welcome any opportunity to add to their stock, particularly if it contains content about farm animals.
